Angela & Jeroen : Rotterdam Wedding Photography Part I

Wedding of friends are always extra special because you get to witness the best day of their life as a whole part. Peter and Jeroen have known each other way back when they were still studying at the Graphis Lyceum in Utrecht. Along the way Angela came in the picture. We witnes their relationship grow and by documenting their wedding it feels like we come to a full circle.

Jeroen and Angela met because they have the same hobby of board game, their wedding came along the way after that first date at the cow market. Now I never heard any successful first date at a cow market but it seems Angela was more smitten to Jeroen’s sweetness and the way he treats her rather than paying attention to the cows.  Jeroen and Angela we were very blessed to have had the chance to document your most important day. We wish you all the happiness in the world, together.

Angela started the day at her parents house.

While Peter was with Jeroen at their home. Now I have to say since I never seen him in this attire ever, he looks pretty sleek this way. Probably consider wearing this everyday? Kidding kidding.

Jeroen’s eyes were glassy when he saw Angela for the first time and I think that’s pretty cute.

Look at how cute the knitted bruid and groom, they were made by a friend of theirs. While the rings were their own design.

We had plenty of time to take first portraits at the none other than Erasmus Bridge. The classic Jaguar was a secret vehicle of that day planned by their family. Jeroen and Angela thought they could just do by going with the metro to the town hall.

The morning light was perfect with a little bit of breeze.

Work it guys!

These next two were taken by Peter, I like the romantic feel of the flower and water.

Aw Hawt!

We headed to the town hall where they were greeted by dear family and friends.

We had our dear friend Ayu as third shooter for the day because Peter was Jeroen’s witness as well. Ayu thank you for all the help, it was surely all fun working with you.

This wedding room at the Rotterdam town hall was very beautiful with many ornaments and details.

Don’t they look so happy together.

Awww glassy eyes again.

Besided officiated by the wedding minister they also had their own vows which were conducted by a good friend of Angela’s family.

They two nephews were kinda gobsmacked at the whole scene.

The proud and happy parents.

Yeehaa went out from the room as man and wife. Congratulations!

Oh did I mention that there was also a piano player during the ceremony?

If you need some incentives to go back next week for the part II, just look at these below.

You’ve made me look surprisingly handsome!

Joking aside, it was wonderful working with you. I absolutely love the colours and the lighting of the photos. Also, I know what’s yet to come in part II, and I can’t wait to see those pictures!
