Fabrizio proposed Gina when they were in New York. After going down from the Empire State Building Gina said to Fabrizio that she thought he would propose while they were on top of the building. She was half joking half serious. But Fabrizio was nervous because that was exactly what he was about to do but not on top of Empire State Building with where many eyes would be staring. Instead the proposal happened while they were strolling in Central Park, in a quiet bench far from peering strangers. At this point Gina didn’t expect it at all since she thought there was a proposal then it would be there, at the top of the building. She said yes because after 6 years she knew that this is the one, her best friend for life.
Comes to wedding preparations, Gina’s best friend who happens to be Peter’s cousin recommended us to them, so thank you Danielle! Gina and Fabrizio, thank you for the honor to document your wedding. Your wedding day reflect nothing but you as a couple and family, relaxed, warm and it doesn’t hurt that Italian families know how to party. In short it was very gezellig!
The day started at Gina’s parents house, where she gets ready with the help of her mom.
Her parents house is so good to photograph with lots of lovely light.
Polly the family dog was excited as well.
Their first look in the garden.
A proud father. Clearly.
It was surely not a dry wedding.
How cute is this little car.
On to the party at Rootz in Den Haag.
Another cute alternative to a wedding cake is a wedding soesjes (choux pastry in Dutch)
