Love conquers all, and Jenia and Benoit have proven this. Because from Paris to St. Petersburg, and now a wedding in Rotterdam, there’s nothing that could keep them apart. Weeks ago when Jenia first contacted me, I knew we have one thing in common; being a foreigner at some point of our lives in Holland. And I totally understood their wedding here was going to be an intimate one. Because they will celebrate with bigger parties in their home countries. Nevertheless, both sides of families came all the way from France and Russia. And even though I don’t speak a single word of French or Russian, I could feel all the sincere kindness and love. Jenia and Benoit, I’m so glad our paths have crossed. And I’m wishing you both nothing but happiness. Whether you’ll be living in Paris, St. Petersburg, Rotterdam or any other city. And I hope you’ll also enjoy your (next) wedding parties at your home countries.
The wedding ceremony was taking place at the City Hall of Rotterdam. The wedding minister gave the wedding speech in English, France and little bit of Russian.
Probably the boy was a little bit shy seeing the kissing couple.
Directly after the ceremony we took portrait photos at the garden of the cityhall.
Don’t you think they could be models?
After portraits we were invited back to their place. Where they had a small celebration with champagne and French and Russian nibbles. We never tasted such party nibbles before and thought that they were quite a treat.
